Electrolysis or Thermolysis is a FDA approved method of permanent hair removal (not permanent FDA approved reduction like with our LightSheer Diode Laser) that's been used for over 125 years. Thermolysis uses short wave current delivered by a small filament or needle that slides down and along the hair shaft. The Galvanic, Thermolysis or Blend method of hair removal may be a good choice when removing hair from small areas such as a person's eyebrows, chin, side burns, ears and lip area. As well, these methods may be necessary to use when your hair color is white, blond or red, since laser hair removal is not a good option for these hair colors.
