We will apply a soothing gel to the treated area right after the electrolysis treatment. It is necessary that you keep the treated area clean after your electrolysis treatment and perhaps apply an antibiotic ointment. Your skin should feel silky smooth after your electrolysis treatment, since the hairs slide out with tweezers during the electrolysis treatment.

That depends. The only medications that are prohibited for laser hair removal treatments are Accutane and Retin-A, which must be discontinued prior to any laser hair removal treatments. Sun sensitizing medications and St. John's Wart may require additional test spots.
